will take a look at the subject of Breast Implants. Other topics

A
large Canadian study adds to evidence that women with breast implants
do not face a higher risk of cancer or other major diseases, but
they may have a higher-than-average rate of suicide.
Breast
implants are medical devices that typically consist of a silicone
elastomer shell filled with saline or
silicone gel. They are intended for women
who are seeking breast augmentation.
The
web is cluttered with myths about cosmetic
surgery. For example, the internet is spattered with claims that
liposuction is always better than a tummy tuck, that breast implants will fix saggy breasts, that mini facelifts
are effective, that laser hair removal is painless and permanent,
that endoscopic brow lifts last 20 years,
and that laser will remove stretch marks and cellulite.
The
earliest known implant was attempted by Czerny, using a woman's
own adipose tissue.
According
to surveyed women that had undergone the breast augmentation procedure,
94% of them said they would recommend the surgery to others. This
was an overwhelming response that shows
how much breast augmentation procedures have evolved.
Unfortunately
all of the available medical evidence indicates silicone breast
implants are not a health risk and in fact some studies show a
slight health benefit to implants.
Before
you undergo breast augmentation surgery with breast implants,
you need to make several choices about your surgery. Class-action
lawsuits in the U.S.
and Canada alleged
that the implants leaked and that ruptured implants caused auto-immune
diseases and heart conditions.
Unfortunately
high prices of breast implants and the many womens health risks have made this a last resort. Breast implant
prices usually range anywhere from $5,000-$7,000. But
depending on where you live and how many competing breast implant
surgeons there are in your area the actual breast implant prices
can be much higher.
The
first silicone breast implants are developed
by two plastic surgeons from Texas: Frank Gerow
and Thomas Cronin.
A
little pump is the latest innovation in reducing post- operative
pain when undergoing Breast Augmentations,
or Lift combined with a Breast
Implants Augmentation Surgery.
Breast
enlargement surgery may also be offered
if you are having surgery for breast cancer or other conditions
that may affect the size and shape of your breasts.
Silicone
breast implants
were pulled from the market in 1992 due
to increasing concern that the silicone from the implants could
cause a myriad of different diseases in women.
There
is a high chance that women with breast implants will need additional
surgery at some point to replace or remove her implant(s) due
to problems such as deflation, capsular Contracture, infection,
shifting, and calcium deposits.
